Personalized American Flags

These flags variations were designed by Art 1 students, grades 9-12.

The assignment was to adapt the symbol of the American Flag to more accurately reflect the individual American creating it.

Students were to use at least 3 symbols, descriptions of which are included in the artist statements accompanying each enlarged image.
