Color on Black

This assignment was a way for students to do 3 main things:

~Learn to enlarge an image using the Grid Method

~Practice creating depth in 2-dimensions

~Explore the place where color pencil, oil pastels and black paper come together

Students cropped a 2"x2" section of their Archetype Collage and enlarged it to 3"x3" on a piece of black paper.

They then used that square as a seed for an expressive composition of their choice.
